Mer-baby shower cookies

I don't know about you guys, but my favorite movie as a kid was The Little Mermaid. It bordered on weird obsession.

During bathtime I would pretend to be Ariel and either my mom or dad, whomever was responsible for keeping me from drowning, was ordered to be Prince Eric. I'd knock on the bathroom tiles looking for Flounder and break into song.

A semi-regular client reached out last year to request six dozen mermaid cookies for a baby shower. She's got a basketball team worth of sons, but this was her first daughter so we needed to knock it out of the park. I could not have been more thrilled.

She requested purple and teal and some red headed mermaids.

Say less.

I was nervous to create this set, but ended up loving it.

I can't wait for the next mermaid cookie request so I can try again and improve upon the designs!
